The dairy industry says that dairy foods are good for you and are essential to supply enough calcium for healthy bones. 

This is a myth promoted over the past few decades by the dairy industry and is very deeply ingrained in many people's minds. Most people really like diary foods but are largely unaware of their negative health aspects or of the huge environmental damage caused by dairying. Milk and cheese are far from an ideal foods; they are not health foods at all.

Points to consider:
